Prepare for another tour of simply gorgeous ponds and gardens this year.

There are two dates for 2015 – Friday, September 18th from 4pm to 8:30 pm for touring; Saturday, September 19th starts at 8 am until 3 pm. The BBQ and Prize table for ticket holders is at Grand Valley Garden Village on Saturday from 3 – 5 pm.  And that’s when the non profit selected to win a custom designed and built waterfall, stream, and garden will be announced.

There are 8 properties on the tour, ranging from small suburban delights to country living with a swim pond. Truly inspiring no matter where you start.  Ticket prices remain at $20 per person, which includes the complimentary BBQ and prizes – a great value for a full day of entertainment, plus kids 12 and under remain free.

Tickets and BBQ

New this year are online ticket sales! We’ve partnered up with KW Snapd so if you prefer, you can go to their website and purchase your ticket there. Simply trade in your ticket for the Tour Brochure as of August 24th, at Grand Valley Garden Village in Kitchener, or Dutch Mill Flower Shop in Waterloo.  That package has all the details you need, plus a marked street map from Peter Benninger Coldwell Banker for ease of directions.

Make sure you keep your ticket, regardless of which day(s) you tour, because the gathering and BBQ for ticket holders on Saturday September 19th from 3 – 5 pm at Grand Valley Garden Village is a must do.  Last year there were great prizes for ticket holders and this year will be even better.  The BBQ is hosted by Peter Benninger, Coldwell Banker Realty and the menu includes succulent pulled pork sandwiches and country salads. It’s really a wonderful way to end the day.

Non Profit Aspect of the Pond & Garden Tour

Each year a panel of judges selects one non profit to receive a therapeutic waterfall, stream and garden.  The simple online application is open for the month of August 2015. You can read the full criteria for non profits to ensure your application is a fit. If you’ve applied before, you certainly may apply again. It’s so hard for the judges to choose just one location each year.  Here’s the group photo of last year’s winner KW Habilitation.KW Habilitation on University Road in Waterloo
